Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-20

Orbly is a daily circle-drawing game for iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and how you can control it. The short version: nothing about you leaves your device except what's absolutely required to serve ads (for the free tier) and to sync your own scores across your own Apple devices.

Summary

What Orbly does not collect

What Orbly does collect

Game Center (Apple)

When you submit a score, Orbly hands it to Apple's Game Center for the leaderboards. This is handled entirely by Apple. Your Game Center nickname may appear on public leaderboards. You can sign out of Game Center from iOS Settings at any time.

iCloud (Apple)

If you're signed into iCloud, Orbly syncs your past results and lifetime stats to your other Apple devices through your private iCloud storage. We (the developer) have no access to this data — it lives in your Apple account. If you sign out of iCloud, the data stays on that device only.

Google AdMob (free tier only)

Free-tier users see occasional interstitial ads after a game. To serve those ads, the AdMob SDK collects:

This data is used for third-party advertising and analytics purposes and is processed by Google per their privacy policy. Declining tracking simply results in less personalised ads — you'll still see ads unless you purchase the Remove Ads IAP.

On-device storage

Orbly uses standard iOS storage to remember your in-app preferences and your local game history on your device. None of this leaves the device unless iCloud sync is on (in which case it goes only to your own Apple account, as described above).

Your choices

Children

Orbly is rated 4+ by Apple (no objectionable content) but is not specifically directed at children. The AdMob SDK is not configured for child-directed treatment. If you're a parent who wants a child to play without advertising, purchase the Remove Ads IAP.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Orbly handles data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes (e.g. adding a new SDK), we'll also surface a notice in the app.
